Whistler Dog Sledding

Whistler Dog Sledding

Come and join the dog sledding team on the backcountry experience of a lifetime! Let the Musher and his team of Alaskan Huskies takes you on a winter journey through the spectacular Soo Valley Wildlife Reserve. Stop along the trail for a traditional snack and a visit with the team. You can even be the Musher and drive the sled!

All the sled dogs are Alaskan Racing Huskies, which are the dog of choice of Sled Dog Racers. An Alaskan Racing Husky is a cross breed of Husky and Hound and are friendly approachable dogs. When you arrive at the Dogsled Base camp in the Soo Valley (20 minutes north of Whistler), your 'Musher' will provide a full interpretation of the dogs and tour procedures. The harnessing and the assembly of the dog team is very exciting… so everyone gets to join in and help prepare the teams for running. You will also learn how to harness dogs, command the team and ride the runners. Each sled holds up to two full size adults and one child. << Call Now for Prices & Bookings>>
